Seminar targets
Our daytime seminar provides basics on the selection, plant design, operation and maintenance of
DC motors. Furthermore it provides particularities for the operation in zones with potential explosion hazards.

The seminar addresses manufacturers and users as well all persons interested who belong to the sectors of mechanical engineering and plant construction, apparatus and equipment engineering, chemistry, petrochemistry, research and industry, and who use direct current motors from the following fields:

- Basics direct current motors, selection according to focal points of use, motor types, operational behaviour, winding parts, carbon brushes, commutation
- standards, protection categories, types of cooling, direction of rotation
- starting methods of DC motors
- connection of direct current motors
- practical part in production/test center
instructions for installation/tests, measurements, adjustments
- additional equipment
brakes, tachogenerators, encoders, sensors, standstill heatings
- information on zones with potential explosion hazards, maintenance,
servicing, protective measures, gap rings, provisions, tools
- concluding discussion, questions on direct current motor drives
Training documentation/certificate
Each participant receives a certificate of attendance as well as a detailed training documentation.
Semirar fee
Seminar fees amount to 146 € plus VAT - including detailed seminar documents, soft drinks and lunch.
