It started on October 1, 1921! Our company founder and visionary Wilhelm Winkelmann went off to start his company and built it up. Winkelmann Elektromotoren, a special factory for electric motors, started on October 1, 1912, with the men of the first hour to develop and manufacture DC motors for the industry, agriculture, and shipbuilding. A family-run success story, that continues to this day.
In addition to the production of DC motors, the development and manufacturing of technologically sophisticated AC motors has been added, so that Winkelmann is now operating on several legs.
However, there were also turbulent times that we had to go through together. The success was therefore primarily due to close customer and supplier relationships. This anniversary was made possible by this long-standing loyalty, the work and commitment of our employees, as well as the reliability of our business partners. Only together we could achieve this.
We would like to thank all our customers and suppliers, as well as all former and current employees, and hope for continued close and cooperative cooperation in the future.
